Common kingfisher,カワセミ

This is first installment of a six-part series of this feature article.
Due to illness, in my front half of this year, as there were few outings to take wild bird photos, so, this time I will install of the life of kingfisher as a feature.
This time I will install six topics of kingfisher's life as a special feature.
Fortunately, I've taken a lot of kingfisher pictures in the past in Chiba Prefecture.
However, since I am neither a bird scholar nor a research fellow, I have installed this based on past my observations, and some quote from Wikipedia and Animal Diversity Web.
This feature is uploaded divided into six installments.
The content is as follows;
Adult: Non-breeding season
Adult: Breeding season and Matchmaking and mating
Adult: Nest making
Adult: Feeding feed and Tragedy
Leaving the nest
Becoming independent

Adult: Non-breeding seasonJuly to December
First of all, what I am interested in most concerned is how long the life span of kingfishers inhabiting in Japan is.
I found only one Japanese blog it was written to be 2-7 years.
However, according to another article such as Wikipedia English, Animal Diversity Web
as following,
Wikipedia: Only 25% survive from one breeding season to the next.
The longevity record is 21 years.
ADW: It can live for 15 years, but it's an average of seven years.

Untitled,無題

Two months have been passed discharging from the hospital.
Of course, I thought the recovery of physical strength I don't go the way I want.
However, I can't carry heavy photographing equipment at this condition.
Therefore, I have been taking the targets around my house with 7DmarkⅡF4.5 without tripod.
I was wondering if it passed over by every day in such a state but my waist pain that I forgot I ever existed had a recurrence.

Oh my god, misfortunes never come alone.

Shortest trip to Okinawa Prefecture

From aside the reason, I suddenly went to Japan's southernmost Okinawa prefecture on June 17-18th.
Unfortunately, the departure and arrival time of the plane on the 16th and 17th was significantly delayed.
After all, the only tourist attraction I visited was Shuri Castle which
I have been to Okinawa more than a dozen times, but for the first time I visited the world heritage site Shuri Castle.
A monarchy that has existed in the southwestern islands of Japan for about 450 years
The Ryukyu Kingdom was established about 570 years ago (1429) and existed in the southwest islands of Japan for about 450 years, up to about 120 years ago (1879).
In addition, the unique architectural style and stone-building technology that combines the culture of the castle of the Japan and China has a high cultural and historical value, and the ruins of Shuri Castle were registered as the 11th World Heritage Site in Japan in December 2000.
The bright red color of the figure is a male figure that conveys the life of the kingdom's history and culture, and it can be said that it is a symbol of Okinawa.
