Naritasan Great Pagoda of Peace Festival Dedicatory All Performers dance together

It is held every year to celebrate the founding of the Great Pagoda of Peace, built in commemoration of the 1150th anniversary of KoboDaishi's death in 1985.

About 1,000 ladies who live in this city start the dance from Omotesando Jr Narita Station at noon and will march while dancing towards to the front gate of Naritasan.

This time it was held to celebrate the gokaityou of the Naritasan Foundation 1080 year festival with the addition of new songs. This is the 33rd year. 

昭和59年に弘法大師1150年のご遠忌を記念して建てられた平和大塔の落慶を祝って毎年行われています。市内の約1,000人のご婦人連が正午に表参道JR成田駅前から踊りを開始、成田山門前までの踊りの行進をします。今回は成田山開基1080年祭御開帳を記念して、新たな曲目も加えての開催となつた。今年で33回目である。
