Returns　from oversea are expected to peak on May7.

日本の今年で一番長い10連休が昨日29日の金曜日から始まりました。
海外からの帰国のピークは5月7日と思われます。

Blue-and-White Flycather, オオルリ LC

 According to the book of”Birder ,January, 2007”,which is the only book for monthly magazine  specialized in a wild bird  in Japan,

 Blue-and-White Flycather is the third place in the wild bird popularity Top Ten .

This wild bird seems to come out without a difficulty at the foot of Mount Fuji,

It is the place that it is hard to go to me of the physical person with a disability very much.
The classification by the IUCN (Red List)  of  this bird is LC.

国内で唯一の野鳥専門月刊雑誌バーダー2007年1月号によれば、オオルリはトップ10の中で第三位です。

この野鳥は、富士山のすそ野では難なく撮れるそうですが,

身体障碍者のわたくしにはとても行き難い場所です。

IUCNのこの野鳥の分類は軽度懸念です。

According to the book of Birder of which was published in January, 2007,
the second popular wild bird in Japan is the Nacissus Flycathers.

日本のバーダー誌2007年1月号によれば、キビタキは日本の人気野鳥二番目です。
And,
　The narcissus flycatchers are classified in LC in the IUCN category.

　キビタキはIUCNカテゴリーではLCに分類されます。

Japanese bush warbler

There is an old song called "Umeno Koedani Uguisu Ga "in the elementary school song of this country.

However, I have not seen a Japanese bush warbler perched on the twig of the Ume.

The author of this song take a Japanese white-eye and the Japanese bush warbler which often perch on the twig of the Japanese apricot for, I have ever read some of this concern on website.

Remaks:

Umeno is meaning of a Japanese apricot tree. 

Koedani is meaning a twig of a Japanese apricot tree.

Uguisuga is meaning of the Japanese bush warbler or Japanese nightingale.

So,Umeno Koedani Uguisuga is meaning that a Japanese Bush warbler perches on the twig of the Japanese apricot tree temporarily.

When spring comes, in this country, a bush warbler sings in a beautiful voice.

A Japanese likes this song from ancient times.

Grey-faced buzzard

Grey-faced buzzard is one of endangered species that Japan Environment Agency designated as a endangered species Ⅱ.

A centipede is their favorite one.

   A lizard  is  also their favorite one.

Ushiku Daibutsu,Guinness Book of Wold Records

Ushiku Daibutsu , which is located  in Ushiku shi ,Ibaraki prefecture, is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the highest Bronze Buddha statue in the world, towering a full 120meters into the sky.

The great image of Amida Buddha ,which stands in the center of Jodo Teien garden,is 120meters high symbolic of the 12 beams of light said to emanate from  Amida's  body and reach throughout the world.
Standing upon a lotus blossom, Amida's  feet are poised to signify his vow to step forward and serch
out all those who are lost within the impure world with its five defilements.
In turn, the position of Amida's hands symbolize his acceptance of all sentient beings without exception.

Crested kingfisher

In Japan, it is said that a crested kingfisher is resident bird distributed over Kyushu and north, but,

    there are not so many population.

  This was the first time that I took the photograph of a crested kingfisher that I had been waiting for four hours. It was only five seconds thing.

Crested kingfisher is called yamasemi in Japan

 A river fisherman informed me that the crested kingfisher has been nesting at that over hanging cliff.
