According to the Wikipedia Japanese,

It is distributed in East Asia (Russia Southeast, Korean Peninsula, Japan, Taiwan, People's Republic of China, etc.). In the Japan, it breeds in Hokkaido and central North, and it goes south to Honshu south (chiefly West) and winter. Mandarin is generally wandering birds, but they sometimes come from outside the country in winter like winter migrant birds.

ウイキペディアの日本文によれば、東アジア（ロシア南東部、朝鮮半島、日本、台湾、中華民国など）に分布する。日本では北海道や本州中部以北で繁殖し、冬季になると本州以南（主に西日本）へ南下し越冬する。オシドリは一般的に漂鳥であるが、冬鳥のように冬期に国外から渡って来ることもある。

The 7th Abiko City Wadaiko Festival、第七回我孫子市和太鼓祭り

This is the first installment of a two-part series on this topic.

According to the Wikipedia English,

Taiko (太鼓) is a broad range of Japanese percussion instruments. In Japanese, the term refers to any kind of drum, but outside Japan, it is used to refer to any of the various Japanese drums called wadaiko (和太鼓 "Japanese drums") and to the form of ensemble taiko drumming more specifically called kumi-daiko (組太鼓 "set of drums"). The process of constructing taiko varies between manufacturers, and preparation of both the drum body and skin can take several years depending on methodology.

Abiko city in where I live is supported many citizen events.

This event has been held from in 2011 the year which the Great East Japan Earthquake occurred, in order to encourage people affected by it. And the 7th Festival was organized by the Wadaiko Festival Executive Committee and Abiko City as before, it was held on November 19th with 10 groups participating.

太鼓 (太鼓) は、日本の打楽器の広い範囲です。日本語で言うと、この用語はあらゆる種類のドラムを指していますが、日本国外では、和太鼓 (和太鼓「和太鼓」) と呼ばれる様々な和太鼓の総称で、より具体的には「組太鼓」と呼ばれるアンサンブル太鼓の形になっています。太鼓を組み立てる過程はメーカーによって異なり、ドラム本体と皮の両方の準備は、方法論によって数年かかることがあります。

私の住んでいる我孫子市は、多くの市民イベントをサポートしています。

このエベントは2011年東日本大震災の年に被災した人々を励ますために同年から開催されている。そして、第7回祭は例年同様、「和太鼓まつり実行委員会」と「我孫子市」が主催し、11月19日には10団体が参加して開催されました。

Northern goshawk,オオタカ

It was heavy overcast this morning, but since I had witnessed the hunting of Northern goshawk since yesterday, I set up a camera in my car early in the morning. She started hunting after an hour and a half after setting the camera as expected. However, it was regrettable that the distance was far away though it encountered her after a long time.

The Northern goshawk was excluded from the Red List NT (Near threatened) of the Ministry of the Environment on September 21 this year because of its growing number of habitats. 

今朝は重い曇りであったが、昨日からオオタカのハンティングを目撃していたので、朝早くから車中でカメラを構えた。予想通りカメラをセットしてから1時間半後にハンティングを始めた。ただ、久しぶりにオオタカに遭遇したのに距離が遠く残念だった。

オオタカはその生息数が増加していることから環境省のレッドリストNT（Near threatened）から今年9月21日に除外された。
