菊は桜と同様国花の象徴とされており、皇室の紋章でもあります。
日本では、薬草や観賞用植物として平安時代794-1185年 から栽培され仏花や献花として使用されてきた。なお、慣習として故人への供花とされ、病室への見舞いの花としては忌避される。
The fox which is called kitsune in Japan is the god of Inari, and not the Inari Deity itself, but the Inari and the fox are often equated in the private sector.
You can be seen a kitsune adored like this in many castles and shrines in Japan.
願掛けの赤いよだれ掛けをしたキツネ像
日本でキツネと呼ばれているホックスは、稲荷神の神使であって稲荷神そのものではないが、民間においては稲荷と狐はしばしば同一視されている。
このようなキツネ像は日本のお城や神社で良くみられます。
