In the early summer when the fresh green leaves are deepened, this wild bird to migrate annually to Japan from Southeast Asian countries for breeding.
However, since it is not a wild bird that can be seen anywhere, in my case, I go out to take pictures of this wild bird in a park in another city that is 35 km meter away from my home.
I went to take the photos about four times this year. I come here every time and find a lot of photographers. This time also, those who are taking the photo is estimated at around sixty people including females.
The proper name of this wild bird which is called "アオバズク: Aobazuku" in the Japanese name has two meanings. The meaning of its top 3 characters "アオバ: Aoba" is that of the green leaves, "ズク: zu" means the old name of Horned -owl. It is said that this was named because it comes over
in the early summer when the green leaves deepened.
新緑が深くなる初夏に、この野鳥は東南アジア諸国から繁殖のために日本に毎年移住します。しかし、どこでも見られる野鳥ではないので、私の場合は自宅から35ｋｍ離れた他市の公園までこの野鳥の映像を撮りに出かけます。今年も4回程撮りに行きました。
毎回ここにきて沢山の写真家を見つけます。 今回も写真を撮っている人は女性を含め約60人と推定されています。
日本名の“アオバズク:aobazuku”と言うこの野鳥の固有名詞は二つの意味を持ちます。その先頭の3字“アオバ:aoba”の意味は青葉のことで”ズク:zu”とはミミズク（Horned owl）の古名のことです。
