duck is inhabited in the People's Republic of China, Japan, the Amur region,
and the Korean Peninsula. In Japan, as a resident bird, it mainly inhabits
south of Honshu.
Every
year, you can see cute spot-billed duck chicks that were hatched near the water
lily pond of a private residence near my house.
