It breeds from the Primorsky Krai region of eastern Russia to the Korean Peninsula, northeastern China, and central China and In winter, it will overwinter from southern China to northern Vietnam.In Japan, it comes flying south of central Honshu as a passaging bird or winter bird, but the number is not so many.
