Cherry blossom and Hanami

The Japanese have long thought of the sakura(cherry blossom)as the flower which symbolizes the nation.

It is mentioned in ancient myths, and the way its petals fall while still at the height of their beauty was

interpreted by the old warrior class as symbolic of resignation and grace in death qualities which

Kawamura Gakuen Woman's University close to my house, cherry blossom trees along the school building

 They doesn't come in full bloom,two or three days needs to it's full

 This house is called the  Shateau kamiya ,which established in 1903 as a winery.
but  now it doesn't work its operation, uses as a restaurant and memorial hall.

The eleven person ,who had worked at same company , had gathered at this place in order to see and enjoy cherry flower as annual pleasure.

Speaking of hanami , it means that people watch cherry blossoms in this country, but is that it eating and drinking, talking while watching cherry blossoms, however ,it is a my opinion.

Kingfisher(a couple)

When it comes spring, most of kingfisher makes a couple. And after that, the male is capturing small

fish of the bait so many times and gives this the female. This act is called the courtship feeding.

If the couple is continuing to good relation, they begin to dig a nesting hole in over hanging bluff at same time.

Abiko citizen's bonsai exhibition

Japanese Waxwing (2)

This is the second installment in a series and final.

Japanese Waxwing seem to especially like fruit of this Japanese ivy,

but, of course it was after that fruit of the mistletoe  disappeared.

Also, This dusky thrush seem to like this fruit.

Japanese white-eye with Hikanzakura orTaiwan chrry

Someiyoshino is a name of cherry tree which is the most popular in this country .But ,before a yoshino

cherry tree flower blooms, Taiwancherry (Japanese name is Hikanzakura)has blooms.

And  many Japanese white-eyes absorb the honey of the flower when this flower blooms are seen.
