If it is the usual summer, the temperature
in late August is must be around 30 degrees.

The heatwave in the Kanto region of Japan
where I live is still hanging tough.
Every night I can't sleep without leaving
the AC on.
Stilbum cyanurum pacificum has its
beautiful blue color, it was the first time I heard the name of this insect,
and it was also the first time I saw it. This insect
is called Ooseibou in Japanese.
This species is a kind of Chrysididae that has one of the few
metallic lusters among bees
They are a parasitic bee mainly that
parasites on an Oreumenes decoratus.
It posses a rare flower visitability insect
in the Chrysididae family.
