A strange thing has happened to the ducks that migrated to the pond near my house this year. The male of Tufted duck and the male of Common pochard fall in love and began to ignore their females.
Is there a gay world in the world of wild birds too? I observed the scene for the first time.
But, I have no idea whether this action is true or not.
Around the time when two or three days had passed since migrated, the male of Common pochard began to approach the male of Tufted duck, since then, the two males began to become extremely intimate.
Sometimes females of Tufted duck get into between the two males,
but after a while female will leave. But after a while female will leave. Then these two males are leaving to the direction where no female is.
今年も私の家の近くの池に渡ってきた鴨たちに不思議なことが起きてます。
キンクロハジロの雄とホシハジロの雄が恋に落ち、雌を無視するようになりました。
野鳥の世界にもゲイの世界があるのでしょうか？
こんな光景を初めて観察しました。でも、この行動が本当なのかどうかはわかりませんが。
最初は、タフテッドアヒルのカップルが互いに親しみを感じていたようです。
渡ってきて2-3日過ぎたころからホシハジロの雄がキンクロハジロの雄に近づき始め,
以来、 2羽のこの雄が極めて親密になり始めました。
時々キンクロハジロの雌が2羽の雄の間に割り込むのですが、しばらくすると雌が去ってゆきます。するとこの2羽の雄は雌のいない方向に去ってゆきます。
