The U-Can New Words and
Best Vogue Word Award is an event hosted by the Japanese publishing company
Jiyuminposha, and selects the "words" that represent the year from
the events, remarks, and trends that became a hot topic during the year. This
year, 30 words have been nominated.
Among them,” Sanmitsu"
got the award. "Sanmitsu in Japanese means Three Cs in English" was
selected for the New Word / Buzzword Award.
The word "Sanmitsu in
Japanese" is used as a slogan when the Ministry of Health, Labor and
Welfare calls for avoiding "Closed ", "Crowded " and
"Close" in three situations where the
risk of COVID-19 infection
increases.
