The other day I encountered a battle
at the feeding ground of the Siberian Stonechat.
Insects are trying to land on tall goldenrod flowers.
After that, the Stonechat catches them.
You can see the white colored small insects around the bird.

Normally, it would
have arrived at its usual spot a long time ago (the earliest date in the past
was September 17th), but this year it arrived too late, perhaps due to the
heat.
Naturally, the feather color has
already been in winter mode.
It migrates to central Honshu and
north in Japan to breed as a summer bird.
It can be observed during the spring
and autumn migration in central Honshu and the south.
The stomach pain I've been dealing with for the past two months has been considerably less the other day, so I went to my usual field for the first time in the second half of this year and photographed birds for the first time.
It was a boiling summer:
The Japan Meteorological Agency reported on September 2nd that the average temperature in Japan was 2.66 degrees above normal, which is significantly higher than the 1.51 degrees in 2012, and the highest temperature since statistics began in 1898.
In the region, Tohoku had the highest temperature compared to normal, with +3.4 degrees, followed by Kanto-Koshin with +3.3 degrees and Hokuriku with +3.2 degrees. Out of the 153 locations nationwide that have temperature statistics over the past 50 years, 101 locations experienced record-high average temperatures in September.
The Pacific high-pressure system that extended to the southwest of Japan and record-high sea surface temperatures near Japan are believed to have caused this.
Upon closer inspection, I realized that it was a common starling.
It seems that this immature goshawk is
not interested in training for hunting.
The water from the agricultural water path in the countryside near my home has turned orange in color.
Yesterday, September 7th, the
temperature dropped below 30 degrees for the first time in a long time, so I went on a bike ride through the
countryside to observe wild birds.
When I arrived at the Drainage Bridge, I looked at the
waterway and saw that the river surface range visible to the naked eye had
turned orange, both upstream and downstream.
Although I've been watching this
waterway for decades, this is the first time I've seen it.
I researched it up online and found that it is caused by changes in a microorganism called Euglena Sanguinea caused by the high temperature. (Captured by my phone)

The crape myrtle is the flower that can soothe the bitterness of midsummer. This flowering tree is native to China, but now blooms everywhere in Japan. The flower colors are crimson, pink, purple, and white.
The English name of this flower is crape
myrtle, and the Japanese name crape myrtle is derived from the analogy that
even monkeys who are good at climbing trees have smooth bark so that they slide
down. Because of its long flowering period, it is also known as hyakujitsuko (hundred day red), and its Chinese name is also "hundred
day red".
"It not blooms continuously
from summer to autumn." "Actually, from the tip of a branch that has
bloomed once "Sprouts sprout again "In order to bear flowers,
"It looks like it's continuing to bloom." The flowers are wrinkled.
Although I am supplying water every evening,
Some of the trees in my garden have dried out due to the heat wave every day.

it or not.
I didn't edit this photo.
I won't be able to get a shot like this again, think it can be the same as the chance to get the lottery 1st prize.
