Normally, it would
have arrived at its usual spot a long time ago (the earliest date in the past
was September 17th), but this year it arrived too late, perhaps due to the
heat.
Naturally, the feather color has
already been in winter mode.
It migrates to central Honshu and
north in Japan to breed as a summer bird.
It can be observed during the spring
and autumn migration in central Honshu and the south.
