Information

Shinjuku Gyoen was constructed on the site of a private mansion belonging to Lord Naito, a "daimyo"(feudal lord) of the Edo era. Completed in 1906 as an imperial garden, it was re-designated as a national garden after the Second World War and opened to the public. With 58.3 ha(144 acres) in size and a circumference of 3.5 km, it blends three distinct styles, French Formal Garden, English Landscape Garden and Japanese Traditional Garden, and is considered to be one of the most important gardens from the Meiji era.

At the famous museum, there is a special point of the pond where autumn leaves are reflected on the surface of the water,but however, the target did not come to a best point where I aim it.

Continent type Kestrel,Tairikugatatyougenbou,大陸型チョウゲンボウ?

I have installed about the images of kestrel which has partially white feather color.

When I looked closely at this kestrel on the web, I understood that it was a whitened kestrel.

One of my friend advised to me that you would be better to check it up again about details.

So,　I checked it up and understood it was whitened common kestrel and I corrected about  the article of the other day and install it again.

This is first installment of a four-part series of this topic.

In the four seasons in Japan, the fresh green of leaves in spring, and the autumn leaves are beautiful and outstanding. Beautiful autumn leaves has began around where I live in.

This image is Shichi-go-san which is one of main annual festival in Japan.

We have ten main annual festivals ,and Shichi-go-san will be held November 15,whch is the seven-five-three festival when parents with boys of five, girls of seven and either boys or girls of three dress their children in gay clothes and take them to shrines where they pray for their children's future. These three numbers were chosen since odd numbers are

considered lucky.
