The rainy season front, which brought record heavy rain mainly in Kyushu and various parts in Japan,

have been stalling over the South Sea of Honshu on the 15th as well, and It had become rainy and cloudy nationwide.

The rainy day in July was exceptionally long for on 3 to 13th  July consecutive days, exceeding the 11 days of heavy rain in western Japan torrential rain two years ago.

Japan Meteorological Agency's Secretary Yasuo Sekita showed recognition at a regular press conference that "I can't remember such as this long-term stalled."
