Mandarin duck,オシドリ

The other day, this year also, I went to a famous art museum which has a beautiful park with a pond, to photograph some pictures of Mandarin ducks under the dyed in autumn colors. But I couldn't take the scene that I was expecting.
先日、今年もこの美術館の公園の池の紅葉下オシドリを撮りに行きました。
しかし、期待していたシーンは撮れませんでした。

In Japanese culture, the ducks are called oshidori (おしどり/オシドリ/鴛鴦) and are used in the phrase oshidori fūfu (おしどり夫婦, "a couple of lovebirds/happily married couple"). (quote from the Wikipedia)
