 The Japanese archipelago has been hit by a cold wave and heavy snow recently.

In the capital city Tokyo, the big cold wave since 48 years and the heavy snow for the first time in 4 years have been affecting train service, highway and forcing cancellation of hundreds of flights. This weather condition seems to continue still.

最近、日本列島は寒波と大雪に襲われました。

首都東京では、48年以来の大寒波と4年ぶりの大雪が列車運行、高速道路に影響を及ぼし、何百ものフライトのキャンセルを余儀なくされました。この状況はまだ続くそうです。
