A Chrysanthemum Exhibition,菊の展示会

In the Kanto area, the chrysanthemum exhibition will be held in parks and shrines etc when it comes to in late October. Although it is not near my habitation place, the exhibition of Kasama Inari shrine in Kasama city, Ibaraki prefecture, which is a neighboring prefecture, is famous and this time it is the 110th holding. For your information, about Inari Shinto shrine is as follows.

Inari Kami(Inarinokami, Inarisihin) is one of the gods in Japan. Also known as Inari daimyoujin, Oinarisama,Oinarisan, Originally it is God of grain and agriculture, but now it is also believed as a god of commerce and industry.

Kasama Kikumatsuri Liaison Committee will be held at the end of October at Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture, It is said that Kasama inari shrine is one of the three major Inari shrines in Japan. The event seems to be the 110th time this year, but it will continue until November 26th.

関東地方では10月下旬にもなると菊の展示会が公園や神社などで開催されます。

わたくしの居住地の近くではありませんが、隣県である茨城県の笠間市にある笠間稲荷神社の展示は有名で、今回で第110回目の開催との事であります。

参考までに 稲荷神社とは次のようなことです。

稲荷神（いなりのかみ、いなりしん）は、日本における神の1つ。稲荷大明神（いなりだいみょうじん）、お稲荷様、お稲荷さんともいう。本来は穀物・農業の神だが、現在は商工業の神としても信仰されている。

稲荷神を祀る神社を稲荷神社（いなりじんじゃ）と呼び、京都市伏見区深草にある伏見稲荷大社が日本各所にある神道上の稲荷神社の総本宮となっている。(ウイキペディア日本語)

毎年10月下旬になると茨城県笠間市にある日本三大稲荷神社の一つ笠間稲荷神社と笠間菊祭連絡協議会主催による菊イベントが開催されます。イベントは今年で110回目だそうで
