Grey-faced buzzard ,Sashiba,

Below is a translation of Wikipedia's English sentence partly into Japanese sentence and Japanese sentence in English.
The grey-faced buzzard (Butastur indicus) is an Asian bird of prey.
It breeds in East Russia, North China, Korea, and Japan, and winters in South-east Asia.
Grey-faced buzzards arrive in the breeding grounds of Japan from late March to early April. It is assumed that males arrive in the breeding grounds and wait for the female to arrive, while defending their territory. After the female arrives then, nest building and copulation begin.
They mainly eat small animals such as snakes, lizards and frogs, insects such as cicadas and grasshoppers. Rarely catches rats and small birds and eats them. It appears near the river and hunts in paddy field etc. (quote from Wikipedia in English and Japanese)
Because I am neither a wild bird expert nor a scholar, I have learned for the first time that male arrived earlier than female. That's why I  usually get these knowledge from Wikipedia and specialty books in this field.

 The background is cherry blossoms.
