Discharge,退院

I had surgery to replace the aortic valve at New Tokyo Hospital in the prefecture on April 16,and was discharged on the 28th.It will take three months to recover until complete attachment of sternum while walking everyday for rehabilitation.

4月16日に県内の新東京病院で大動脈弁置換術を受け、28日に退院しました。リハビリのために毎日歩きながら胸骨が完全に固着されるまで3ヶ月かかります。

Cherry blossom viewing season is over　

The best time to see cherry blossoms in the Kanto area has ended with the rain and snow of April 10, today. From now on, the Sakura Front moves northward to the Tohoku region. Yesterday, I had a back pain but the weather was fine, so I went to see cherry blossoms of the local temples and flower in a park.

Reiwa period ,the new era of Japan

Today the government has announced the new era name.

According to Wikipedia,

The Reiwa period (Japanese: 令和時代 Hepburn: Reiwa jidai) will be the next era of Japan.

The period is expected to start on 1 May 2019, the day when Emperor Akihito's elder son, Naruhito, is expected to ascend to the throne as the 126th Emperor of Japan.

Emperor Akihito is expected to abdicate the Chrysanthemum Throne on 30 April 2019, marking the end of Heisei period. The year 2019 corresponds to Heisei 31 until 30 April, and Reiwa 1 (令和元年 Reiwa gannen, English: "first year of Reiwa")from 1 May 2019.

Suga, the Chief Cabinet Secretary, has unveiled the new era name Reiwa(令和） on TV.

Yellow-billed Grosbeak、コイカル

The following are not uploaded images on Yellow-billed Grosbeak ever before.

It breeds from the Primorsky Krai region of eastern Russia to the Korean Peninsula, northeastern China, and central China and In winter, it will overwinter from southern China to northern Vietnam.In Japan, it comes flying south of central Honshu as a passaging bird or winter bird, but the number is not so many. There is a record of breeding in Kumamoto and Shimane prefecture （quote from Wikipedia）They take out the larva from Monema flavescens’s cocoon which was laid on a cherry tree and eat it.ロシア東部の沿海州方面から朝鮮半島、中国東北部および中部で繁殖し、冬季は中国南部からベトナム北部に渡り越冬する。日本では、旅鳥または冬鳥として本州の中部以南に渡来するが、数はそれほど多くない。熊本県と島根県で繁殖の記録がある。桜の木に産み付けられたイラガの繭から幼虫を取り出して食べます。
