現在、ボルネオでは、６８８種類の鳥類が確認記録されており、そのうち５４種が固有種、その中の３３種類がサバ州の山地性森林や丘陵地帯の斜面に生息しています。ボルネオ島では、渡り鳥を含め６６２種もの鳥類が棲んでいます。３２種類はボルネオ固有種、その中でも２４種がサバ州の山岳地帯の森林で確認されています。特に、サバ州のシンボルとも言える東南アジア最高峰のキナバル山（４０９５ｍ）には、ボルネオの高地森林に生息する鳥類が、集まっています。固有種の中でも、Whitehead’s Trogon（ノドグロキヌバネドリ）、Whitehead’s Broadbill（オオミドリヒロハシ）、Blue headed Pitta（ズアオヤイロチョウ）、Blue-banded Pitta（アオオビヤイロチョウ）、Bornean GroundCuckoo（ハシリカッコウ）、Bornean Bristlehead（ブタゲモズ）、Golden –naped Barbet（キンノドゴシキド
リ）などはとても珍しいものです。

Japan Bird Festival 2017,ジャパンバードフェステバル2017

This is the first installment of a three-part series on this topic.

Sponsored by Japan Bird Festival Executive Committee Japan Bird Festival (JBF)2017 is the largest Festival in Japan related to a bird. It was held on November 4, 5 at Lake Teganuma Shinsui Park, in Abiko City, Chiba, located in the North East of Tokyo.

The concept of JBF is” aiming for coexistence with people and birds”.

And it can enjoy four items following;

Watching;

Bird sculpture exhibition, wild bird video screening, wild bird photo exhibition, lakeside/shipboard bird watching, bird-lovers poster - exhibition, various lectures, talk show, picture-story show, draw a picture of a bird live, performance etc.

Knowing;

Local government, · NPO Panel exhibition, bird study lecture, Bird of museum project exhibition, Yamashina Institute for Ornithology’s Lecture, JBF 2017 Society on Environment etc.

Touching;

Child Bird Painting Classroom, Binoculars, Telescope Demonstration, Touch Carving, Super Telephoto Shooting Experience, Art Umbrella etc.

3回シリーズの1回目です。

日本バードフェスティバル執行委員会主催による日本バードフェスティバル（JBF）2017は、鳥に関連する日本最大のフェスティバルです。 東京都北東部の千葉県我孫子市にある手賀沼親水公園で11月4日、5日に開催されました。

JBFのコンセプトは“人と鳥との共存を目指して”ということです。

そしてそれは以下の4つのアイテムを楽しむことができます。

観る；

鳥の彫刻展、野鳥映像上映会、野鳥写真展、湖畔・船上バードウォチング、愛鳥ポスター展、各種講演会,トークショー、紙芝居、鳥の絵を描くライブ

知る；

全国の行政・ＮＰＯパネル展示、鳥学講座、鳥博企画展、山科鳥類研究所レクチャー、ＪＢＦ2017環境学会等

触る；

子供バードペィンティング、双眼鏡・望遠鏡デモンストレーション、タッチカービング、超望遠撮影体験、アートアンブレラ等

鳥を楽しむ2日間；

野鳥観察グッズ、鳥柄凧あげ、スタンプラリー、クイズ等

Long-tailed Rrosefinch,ベニマシコ

According to the Wikipedia Japanese,
It is inhabited Japan, China, Kazakhstan, North Korea, Korea and Russia. In the Japan, it breeds in Hokkaido and the Shimokita Peninsula, Aomori Prefecture as a summer bird, and it migrates to Honshu and south as winter birds. One of the favorite feed of them is the tall goldenrod seeds.

日本、中国、カザフスタン、北朝鮮、韓国、ロシアに生息する。日本では夏鳥として北海道、青森県下北半島で繁殖し、冬鳥として本州以南に渡り冬を越す。

ベニマシコの好みの食べ物の一つはセイタカアワダチソウの結実です。

Marsh Sandpiper,コアオアシシギ

According to the Wikipedia Japanese,

In Japan, it is seen in Honshu, Kyushu and Okinawa at the time of spring and autumn migration as a passage bird, but the number is small. There are also individuals that overwinter. Breed mainly in the region from the southern part of Russia to Central Asia, but also breeding locally in the northeastern part of China. In winter, it winter over central Africa to the south, India, Southeast Asia, Australia etc.

ウイキペディアの日本文によると

日本では、旅鳥として春と秋の渡りの時期に本州、九州、沖縄で見られるが数は少ない。

越冬する個体もいる。

主にロシア南部から中央アジアにかけての地域で繁殖するが、中国東北部でも局地的に繁殖している。冬季はアフリカ中部から南部、インド、東南アジア、オーストラリア等に渡り越冬する。
